Orchidaceae Berlin Weekend 2018

The Orchidaceae Berlin Weekend will take place again this year!!! It starts on Thursday the 10th May 2018 with an opening show in the Wabe Berlin, where breath-taking artists will accompany the Orchidaceae family on stage.

The fun continues Friday, Saturday and Sunday with a three-day workshop offering 6 hours a day of the finest Urban and Tribal Fusion dancing.

The Instructors

In this workshop, Mary and Piny Orchidaceae teach their fusion of Waacking and Tribal Fusion. This class is open to all levels of dancer, but prior knowledge of Bellydance and/or Voguing/Waacking is helpful.

Mary Orchidaceae

Mary is the youngest of the company. Currently, she teaches House Dance and Hip-Hop and she recently finished her Contemporary Dance Degree. She can go for a more classical vocabulary and she has worked in professional musical shows (exploring jazz/cabaret). She is also a Vogue student and lover. She is the youngest at Tribal Fusion, but a very strong and powerful dancer.

Piny Orchidaceae

She has been rooted in Hip-Hop, House, Waacking, Vogue and Breakdance since 2006. At the same time, she started developing her work in Tribal Fusion Belly Dance and Contemporary Dance. She is the artistic director of Orchidaceae Urban Tribal and works as a freelancer for Contemporary Dance choreographers. In 2006, she started the all-female hip-hop crew, ButterflieSoulFlow, with Leo and Lucia.
