Vogue Fem Workshop by Eray Gülay “Ray”
Vogue Fem Workshop
Voguing is a dance style from a club culture called “Ballroom Scene”, which originates from New York from the 80s. This culture emerged because marginalized groups such as POCs, homosexuals, and transsexuals saw the need to create a safe place for them and their ilk to express themselves.
In the workshop, the focus is on the dance form. Here, the basics of “Vogue Fem”, one of the three performance categories, in addition to “Oldway” and “Newway” mediated. As the name suggests, feminine movements and the feminine embodiment are the theme. In addition to clean technology and dance expression, it is about self-confident appearance and fun moving.
The workshop level is for intermediate dancers who already have experience and are in training.
