House Dance is a clubbing dance style that was born in the New York clubs in the late 70’s early 80’s. The club was a safe place where dancers from all backgrounds would gather, share and dance for the love of music. In this workshop we’ll go through different steps and work on their variations challenging it with changes in speed, directions and musicality. We will work technique but with a strong emphasis in creating space for freestyle. Everyone is welcome, from a beginner to an experienced dancer. All the exercises will meet each one’s needs.
