The workshop is designed to amplify your practice of movement and overall sense of well-being in your body based on the principles of Pilates. We will facilitate and explore the opening qualities of movement by introducing ease, strength and clarity in the alignment of the body in a gentle and efficient manner. The workshop is composed of chapters over the course of three days exploring the themes breathing, pelvic placement, rib cage placement, scapular movement and stabilisation as well as head and cervical placement in detail to understand basic concepts in human anatomy together and guide your body in a non-stressful way into movement.
The classes are open to all bodies and levels, exercises will be introduced organically based on the distribution of gravity on the floor to explore forces acting on the body and establish ease of movement and breathing.
