Commercial Dance Workshop with Jonathan Ott

Jonathan Ott has danced with the choreographers of world stars like Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Mariah Carey.

We are thrilled to have him teach two commercial dance workshops and share his knowledge with us.

Class Description

Jonathan’s style is based on hip-hop, which he combines with influences from styles such as jazz, contemporary or even salsa. In his lessons, Jonathan places great value on the fun of dancing, the quality of movement and the intention of the dancer. When choreographing he pays attention to clear movements, a varied musicality and different movement modalities.

About Jonathan Ott

Jonathan’s career as a professional dancer began almost three years ago. It was selected in summer 2015 from over 400 participants worldwide to become the newest member of the international dance family “THE RICHFAM” (@_therichfam founded by Rob Rich, @_robrich). Starring the RICHFAM show “Villains” in Los Angeles (2015), he collaborated with choreographers of world stars such as Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, and and and …

Since then, his career has developed in Germany and abroad: he danced for names such as Helene Fischer, Rita Ora, Eurovision singer Saara Aalto (Finland) and Luca Hänni (Switzerland), for world footballer Zlatan Ibrahimovics underwear label “A to Z” (Sweden) and for German TV shows like the Echo Awards and the german version of American Idol (DSDS). 

He taught workshops in many cities in Germany and abroad, such as Birmingham (UK), Madrid (Spain) and Cosenza (Italy). As a choreographer and dancer, he has already toured with a dance theater show in Norway.
