African Dance Workshop with Suma

Return to Rhythm: An African Dance Workshop. Finding ways back to the rhythm within us by exploring different Mozambican Dance techniques. The workshop will be focused on joy, musicality, body coordination, strength and stamina!

Suma is a dancer and musician born in Maputo Mozambique and currently living in Cape Town, South Africa, where he studies in the Postgraduate Programme in African Music at the University of Cape Town.
Since 2005 he developped his understanding for music and dance by taking part in various apprenticeships, both traditional and contemporary, aswell as participating as dancer, musician, teacher and choreograoher in a variety of projects, performances and spectacles in various countries.

The Wokshop will be held in english.
