This Cardio Dance Workshop is addressed to Women and Girls only, 16 years and over.
You will learn Nigerian dance styles which they can incorporate in their natural way of dancing and they will also learn cardio steps they can use to exercise at home. The focus is on Naija dance choreography mixed with cardio routines. We will dance mostly to Nigerian songs.
What is Naija Dance Fitness?
First of all the word- Naija-means Nigeria and is a slang used by Nigerians to refer to the West African country.
Naija Dance Fitness is a fusion of Nigerian/African dance steps and cardio routines. The combination creates a fun and energetic fat-burning workout which is danced to authentic Nigerian/African music.
You don’t need to have any experience with African dancing to take part in this class, all you need is enthusiasm and positivity.

What sort of clothes do I wear?
Anything that gives you free body movement, lets you sweat and gives you support. E.g. sportswear like leggings, athletic support bra, t-shit, trainers. If you want to wear African-inspired garments like an Ankara print sarong, Ankara culottes etc. that would be great (:

What do I need to bring with me to the class?
Do I have to know dance steps before attending the class?
How much does it cost?
This ist like any other class and costs 13€. You can also visit it with your contract hours or 5 and 10 tickets.
Do I need to register in advance?
You can just come by on the above mentioned dates. Aim to be at the studio 20 minutes prior to the class and register at the front desk by paying in cash and signing into the attendees list on the counter. Please note that we don’t accept card payment.
