Leila’s main focus is a healthy and conscious use of your own body. We detect malpractices of our bodies and focus on strengthen our core. By doing so we try to bring the spine and the body into a healthy and light posture. We focus especially on the interaction of the bodies strength-centres: lower abdomen, pelvic floor and shoulder girdle. Mindful, undogmatic, and self-reflective, students are guided through muscle building, stretching, balance and breathing exercises, inversions, and total relaxation. In between the exercises we take moments to stop, listen inside ourselves and practice our awareness. Our body should memorise what a healthy and light usage feels like and be able to take this feeling home. After the Yoga Pilates class you should feel strong, encouraged and light! By strengthening ourselves on the yoga matt, we strengthen ourselves for our day to day life as well!
The YogaPilates class is for anyone who wants to improve their posture, want to release tension and improve their core-muscles, flexibility and body awareness. Due to the individual awareness work, the course is well suited for beginners as well as for people with a lot of movement experience.
