Tribal Fusion Bellydance creates an illusion of fluid, beat-like body movements coupled with the sensuality of Oriental dance and the pride of Flamenco. As in Oriental dance, Tribal Fusion Bellydance thrives on a precise and strong isolation technique of individual body parts.
Layerings
Layering is one of the most important techniques in Tribal Fusion in which individual, isolated movements of different body parts are polyrhythmically “layered” on top of each other. Attention – not for the faint of heart 😉
Belly dance in its various forms has been a widespread dance among women for centuries, promoting community, emphasizing femininity and also used as a birth dance for pregnant women. Belly dancing helps you connect with your femininity and will help you become more confident in your own body in the long run.
To prepare us for the isolation technique of bellydance, each class begins with a targeted warm-up and core muscle workout. So hopefully the workout will not only give you more confidence, but abs as well .
The class is designed for all Tribal Fusionistas with a solid background and the motivation to be challenged.
The precise isolation technique is also an excellent technique training for urban dancers.
