The focus of my classes is to examine the realities of one’s own body and understand it as a system. A system consisting of muscles, fascia, tendons, ligaments, bones and organs that can move through a space in different ways. A class will consist of both clear technical exercises to specifically strengthen muscles and establish healthy placement, as well as choreographic phrases and improvisational tasks that focus on refining somatic awareness and understanding movement principles such as breath and weight. The goal should be to understand with which means we can move our body in an economical way and how we can use this for us in the dance hall as well as in our everyday life. I want to help people to put their body in situations where it can learn something. On the floor, standing and in the air.
