This class is for beginners with prior knowledge in classical ballet. Jo Siska expects students to have basic knowledge about positions and movements in ballet and approximately half a year experience of regular ballet training. If you are new to ballet or your last training is a long time ago, please try to start with our class for new beginners.
The focus of this dance class lies on learning body positions, posture and placement as well as the first sequences of movements on the barre and in the center. Through this class you will be more aware of and trained in coordination, musicality and a sense for space.
Processes for outward and inner motions will be explained during the class. The core of the class considers the question “what it is that makes a human moving as a whole”.
Please register for this class in our class calendar. Here you can book specific dates and you can also pay online. If you are a contract member of motion*s the booking is free of charge for you. Be at the studio about 15 minutes prior to the start time and sign in for the class at the front desk. More questions you might have you'll find answers to in our FAQ.
