We dive deep into the structures of the body. In doing so, we primarily examine those muscle chains that hold and move us in dance. Both theoretically and physically we work through the different areas of the body. Theoretical anatomy sessions are part of this intensive as well as practical alignment exercises. Gaining a theoretical understanding of the body also enhances your own performance as you can target muscles more specifically.
This class is for everyone who wants to improve their posture and understanding about the body. No prior dance experience required.
