Uli Kreisel – teacher for creative children’s ballet

Uli Kreisel was born in Berlin. As a child, she danced on ice, learned to play the piano and tap dance, and later earned her music baccalaureate at the Georg-Friedrich-Händel-Oberschule. She gained her first stage experience as an ensemble member of the musical “Space Dream” in Hangar 2, Berlin-Tempelhof Airport. Especially the versatility of this profession appealed to her very much, so she decided to go to musical school, which she successfully completed 3 1/2 years later. Then Uli went on a ship. On the AIDA she was engaged as a singer and dancer and loved the journeys over distant seas. Back on solid ground, roles followed in musicals or plays such as “Loriot”, “Der kleine Lord” in the Stadthalle Vienna and the Theater am Kurfürstendamm, “Jedermann” in the Berlin Cathedral, in her own projects such as the “Honey Pearls” or at various galas.

Work as a teacher for dance and singing

Uli also enjoys passing on what she has learned herself and has been teaching jazz dance, ballet and creative children’s dance for 10 years at various dance schools, schools and daycare centers, as well as singing and acting privately as preparation for auditions. When working with children, she successfully follows Jean Liedloff and her book “In Search of Lost Happiness”. Convinced and enthusiastic about their pedagogical guidelines, Uli promotes not only creativity through expression and movement, but also joy of being, self-confidence and respectful behavior towards each other. Since 2016 she has been part of the ensemble “Wir Kinder vom Kleistpark” and enjoys regular concerts at the Urania.
