Lisa has been firmly rooted in urban dance and the accompanying hip-hop culture since 2006. She has gained experience in different styles, but has specialized in popping since 2014. She regularly participates in battles, does dance theater, teaches and makes it a point to respect the roots of funk and hip hop culture without disregarding the further development of urban dances and in particular popping. Therefore it is very important to her that her students find themselves in the techniques and methods that popping involves and are given the freedom to try out and find their own ways. With the background of having studied physiotherapy, she also pays attention to healthy movement executions and likes to explain here or there the physiology behind one or the other technique.
