Kathy Fleurissaint is a native from Brooklyn New York that loves being involved with anything artistically creative. At the age of 5 years old, Kathy knew she had a love of music which led to her passion in dance. Expressing herself through movements jump started Kathy’s dance journey by being dedicated, knowledgeable and charismatic when it came to dance. Dedication was the first step and being self taught by watching the likes of great artists such as Missy Elliot, James Brown, Michael & Janet Jackson, this fueled a fire in Kathy to become a great performer. Pursuing her education in dance Kathy obtained a dance degree at Queensborough Community College and became a Principal Dancer at the Hip Hop Dance Conservatory in New York City. With knowledge under her belt, Kathy took her career to a professional level becoming a professional dancer under BlocNYC. Print ads with Oil of Olay, working under accomplished choreographers and choreographing commercials at Comedy Central are a few of the many accomplishments Kathy has obtained over her professional career. Kathy is currently teaching, choreographing and spearheading her own artistic dance project called Get it Gurrl NYC, created in 2012.
