As a kid, Amissa danced quite intensively mostly in urban styles. Unfortunately, they lost interest around the age of 13. After what was about a 10-year long gap, they picked up dancing in the form of poledance. After their first class, they got obsessed immediately and was working out an training multiple times a week. Combining it with contortion training, they worked themselves up to an advanced level rather quickly. Poledance spiked their interest in many different forms of moving and dancing, which brought them to Motions to do the Basis- and the Intensive Dance Program. Now, Amissa wants to combine poledance and contemporary dance technique and explore how these two can go together.
