Kupra

Kupra, a Belarusian based in Germany, has been dancing since over 20 years, doing HipHop, House, Locking, and Popping as main styles. During this time, she has been constantly active in different roles in the HipHop scene: as a dancer, performer, teacher, choreographer, event organiser, and host.
Working as a dance teacher since 2008, Kupra discovered and developed variety of pedagogical methods increasing efficiency and efficacy of street dance style teaching, with a particular focus put on development of ability to freestyle.
From 2016, she started to explore the broad potential of urban dance for the theatre projects, and has worked since then with i.a. Theater Münster, Stadttheater Gießen, Museum Folkwang in Essen, Internationaler Karlspreis zu Aachen, Theater für Niedersachsen in Hildesheim. In her artistic works, alongside with universal eternal subjects, Kupra often addresses political and social matters as well.
