Christopher aka Eshu 007 (pronouns: They/Them), is an Afropean movement artist, dancer, voguer and yoga teacher. They started learning Vogue in 2015 and specialise now in Vogue (New Way) performance.

Judging and performing across Europe, organising balls, giving workshops, promoting Ballroom and creating more spaces for the queer BIPOC community.

@kris.eshu.007 studied psychology at the University of Birmingham (Msc) and conducted a thesis on the efficacy of a support group in people with psychosis.

While working in London in palliative care in a hospice they discovered personally the healing and therapeutic effects of dance, especially in the form of voguing.

They joined the collective House of Saint Laurent (ex-House of Melody the first German ballroom house) and helped to establish Ballroom in Germany and Europe. Performing in theatres, stages, organising balls and teaching workshops globally (Basel, Zurich, Poznan, Warsaw, Vienna, Paris, London, Mexico City, Goa, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Köln, Barcelona, Lisbon, Porto etc.)

They have worked with artists including Peggy Gou, Cakes da Killa, Joanna Lumley (Secret Berlin) and Keanu Reeves for John Wick 4 to name a few.

Yoga has been a big part of their personal and spiritual journey. They completed their 200H Hatha Yoga teacher training in Rishikesh and their 300H multistyle in Hatha and Ashtanga in Mysore, India.

Teaching private and BIPOC sessions to the community.

In 2022 Eshu left the collective Saint Laurent to endeavour on more solo projects and to develop their artistic practice. Their work explores the relationship and spaces between movement, queerness and spirituality.
